Who we are

Nordica Profit Analytics is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé) that shows a store’s profit per order and per product. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@nordica-apps.com.

What the app stores

• Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
• Order amounts: the order number, date, sales, refunds, fees and shipping, and for each line the product, variant, units, price and cost. Kept 60 days on Free and 13 months on Pro.
• Your rules for payment fees and shipping costs, and the costs you set with the app (with the value before, so they can be undone).
• The email address for the weekly summary, only if you turn it on.
• Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
• Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.

The app reads no customer data: no names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses of your customers. It never asks Shopify for them.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the app and its database and sends the weekly email (under Cloudflare’s data processing terms). Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising, and no data is sent to an AI service.

What the app changes in your store

Only the “Cost per item” of products, and only when you save costs on the Costs page. Every change can be undone from the same page.

How long it is kept

While the app is installed, orders older than your plan keeps are deleted each night. When you uninstall, your sign-in data is deleted at once; 48 hours later, when Shopify asks for the store’s data to be erased, everything is deleted. Costs you saved stay in Shopify: they are yours.

A tool, not accounting

The app helps you see what you keep. It isn’t accounting or tax advice.
